Celebrate Pride with Agoro Carbon Alliance! This June, we proudly join the global festivities of Pride Month. Our workplace deeply values and respects the diversity and authenticity of our incredible employees. We are thrilled to announce that we will be hosting a series of engaging Pride month events, alongside taking proactive steps to foster an inclusive, educated, and welcoming work environment.
Pride Month holds a special place for the LGBTQ+ community and its allies, serving as a dedicated time for celebration, solidarity, activism, reflection, and support for individuals who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer. Why June? This month was specifically chosen to commemorate the historic Stonewall Inn uprising in June 1969; A pivotal moment that played a large role in sparking the gay rights movement. During Pride Month, we honor the resilience and determination of countless individuals who courageously strive for freedom and authenticity.
At Agoro Carbon, we actively encourage our employees to participate and contribute to the celebration of Pride by:
- Encourage all employees to share their pronouns on workplace communication tools like Slack, email signature, Zoom and beyond
- Share information about local pride events across the global
- Participate in Yara’s DEI internal holiday – Pride Day on June 28th
